The Syrah No.2 is a blend of two blocks in Heathcote and Harcourt. Probably their most exciting release to date, the 2023 was fermented with mostly wholebunches and matured in a range of casks and a concrete egg. It was bottled in February 2025, almost two years after harvest. Elegant and complex, it offers layers of dark berries, spice, and earthy undertones. Fine tannins and vibrant acidity create balance and length, making it a sophisticated expression of site and vintage. A very fine expression of Shiraz.
